COVID-19 is affecting global events –the Transcultural Leadership Summit 2020 will adapt and turn constraints into opportunities!
Dear TLS enthusiasts,
in view of the Covid 19 crisis which has plunged the world into a situation in which forecasting the future is difficult, we would like to inform you about further developments concerning the Transcultural Leadership Summit 2020 and our plans for this year’s event.
Over the past five years, we have been able to transform an idea that arose from the enthusiasm of individuals into a global event facilitating the exchange of ideas on transcultural leadership. Our journey has taken us from China to Sub-Saharan Africa, to Brazil, and finally last year to Europe. The heart of the concept has always been the two-day conference, organized by students, hosted by the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin | LEIZ, and made unique by the participants and international speakers and partners.
It seems clear that change is needed this year, and we feel that this might entail some opportunities for us to take our format further.
A few weeks ago, the student team running this year’s Summit was formed and has been working on ways to make the Summit a success despite mobility constraints and general uncertainty. This remains an ongoing process. However, we are delighted to provide you with the following information:
The Transcultural Leadership Summit will take place on 5 and 6 November 2020. The TLS will take place in a hybrid format, both physically and virtually. The first 50 registrations have the chance to participate physically!
This year’s topic is: New Silk Roads – New Perspectives for Europe?
We very much hope for your support and look forward to meeting TLS veterans and new faces alike.
Please stay happy and healthy!
Your TLS 2020 Team
